The Golden Foodies is the People’s Choice Food Awards. There are a number of categories that break down the various restaurants throughout Orange County, including “Best French Cuisine” and “Best Seafood”. Chef Pascal, of Pascal restaurants, is hoping to win in both of these categories and has his seabass au thym to thank for that.
The lean and flaky fish can be paired well with a zesty and refreshing white wine, such as a Pinot Grigio or a Sauvignon Blanc. Pascal’s dish is found on the menus of all of the restaurants he has, which allows anyone to try the dish for themselves.
What the Dish Has to Offer
Seabass is known for being a light and delicious fish, and the seabass au thym dish created by Chef Pascal is no exception. The pan seared fish is covered with a layer of fresh thyme and then served in a delicious cream sauce. Guests continue to come back to the restaurants to try not only the seabass again, but some of the other delicious foods that the chef is known for creating.
This dish is the epitome of French cuisine and is made with the freshest ingredients that the chef can find in California. Chef Pascal's Many Restaurants
There are a total of three restaurants that Chef Pascal has, each offering something different. The Café Jardin offers fresh scones and muffins for breakfast and provides various paninis and salads for lunch. Dinner is a bistro menu Tuesday through Saturday. The Café Jardin offers an extensive wine menu that pairs well with the selection of foods that are served.
Fresh and organic is the way that Chef Pascal enjoys cooking in Newport Beach and it shows in the way that he is able to create meal after meal for his guests. He enjoys listening to what guests have to say about his cooking and he is always looking for ways to incorporate new flavors and take his entrees to the next level.
